Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering
Prospective engineering students are admitted to the engineering college as a pre-engineer at the time of admission. Admission requirements are based on a number of measures, including grade point average, ACT or SAT scores including the writing portion, and completion of high school core classes. Application fee: $50.00/$60.00 - International application.
Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department
Complete all appropriate freshman pre-engineering course work with a minimum 2.2 Auburn GPA.
Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students
TOEFL - minimum 213 on the computer based test; 550 on written. Combination of SAT and/or ACT and high school. Record evidence of financial support. Application fee: $50.00.
Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students
Non-Alabama residents: Combination of high school GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, and high school curriculum.
Residency Requirements
A minimum of 25 percent of the total hours required for the bachelor's degree must be earned in residence at Auburn University. These hours must be taken in the final year and in the school/college curriculum of graduation.
Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students
2.5/4.0 GPA
Minimum required courses with C grade or better; English composition, pre-calculus math, science course with lab; history.
