To earn the bachelor's degree in the College of Engineering, students must complete all of the subjects in their curriculum, have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in all work attempted at Auburn University and have a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 on all courses PASSED in the major at Auburn. Baccalaureate programs in engineering require 123-134 semester credits, depending on curriculum selected.
Master's with Thesis - GPA requirement: 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Credit hours required for degree: A minimum of 30. Thesis may be completed in absentia, but must be defended on campus. Residency requirement: Certification from the major professor and department head/chair that the student has met the residency requirement. Master's with courses only - GPA requirement: 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Credit hours required for degree: 30-36.
