Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Freshman Admission Requirment - Minimum SAT scores for student seeking admissions are as follows: top 10%-970, first quarter-970, second quarter-1050, third quarter-1180, fourth quarter-Not admissable. In addition, all applicants must have scored a minimum of 480 on the verbal section of the SAT.

Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department

No special departmental admission requirements or restrictions.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

FRESHMEN: Foreign students require a minimum TOEFL score of 550 and a minimum average of 'B' in their high school studies.
TRANSFER STUDNETS FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS (students who have completed 1 year in college): Foreign students require a minimum TOEFL score of 550 and a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required in their university level studies. (Cumulative grade of B is required in educational systems that do not have + or - grading scale.)

Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students

Same as general admission.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Transfer students who have earned fewer than 15 semester hours of college credit must meet the engineering requirements for high school graduates.
Applicants who have more than 15 credit hours must have all the following:
15-29 Transfer Credit Hours should have GPA of 2.5 or higher in all disciplines completed;
29 or more Transfer Credit Hours should have GPA of 2.25 or higher in all disciplines completed.
Please note that the students with Computer Science majors are also included.
