Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering
Graduate of an accredited high school, complete Core 40, or equivalent, including chemistry and 4 years of math, including trigonometry or pre-calculus, upper half of high school graduation class, minimum SAT scores of 550 math and 480 verbal or minimum ACT scores of 24 math and 20 English.
Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department
Graduate of an accredited high school, complete Core 40, or equivalent, including chemistry and 4 years of math, including trigonometry or pre-calculus, upper half of high school graduation class, minimum SAT scores of 550 math and 480 verbal or minimum ACT scores of 24 math and 20 English.
Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students
Completion of secondary school, SAT 1000 combined, TOEFL of 500 (computerized 173), Financial statement.
Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students
Same as for residents, but residents will be offered admission first. If there is available space, then out of state students will be offered admission.
Residency Requirements
Must complete at least 32 credit hours for a Bachelors. At least 12 credit hours out of 32 must be at the Major or Junior level or higher.
Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students
Applicants must be in good standing and have a 2.0 (C) average from previous schools, also must have certain math and English courses from High School or college or test out of specified courses.
