Engineering College Description and Special Characteristics
The College of Engineering at California State University, Long Beach, is one of the top engineering colleges in the West. Since it is located in an area with greatest concentration of high-technology industry in the nation, including the leading aerospace corporations, most students get hired immediately after graduation. All the major BS degree programs are fully accredited by ABET. In addition, it offers a B.A. in Engineering Systems. It also has a unique, part-time and full-time, Ph.D. program in Engineering and Industrial Applied Mathematics, offered jointly with The Claremont Graduate University.
