Other Student Support Programs

Support programs include tutorial assistance available for students in the Guided Learning Center (GLC) operated by the Diversity Programs Office (DPO), and the Cornerstone and Residential Engineering Experience (CoRe). Additional tutoring resources are provided through NSF-funded grant programs at MSU, such as the LSAMP program. We maintain a professional advising staff with an assigned adviser for every student; have required academic orientation programs for all students; and excellent counseling and student life programs within the university. For-credit courses, such as those taught by the Diversity Programs Office and the Women in Engineering program provide students with additional skills for success.
