Degree Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Requirements

The undergraduate degree programs consist of a minimum of 120 academic units. Engineering students must also complete seven months of full-time cooperative education. International and bioengineering students with the biomedical emphasis are exempt. The Engineering Management degree requires courses to be taken at the Eberhardt School of Business; and the Bioengineering and Engineering Physics degrees require courses in the Physics and Biology departments. Both degrees, however, are granted by the School of Engineering and Computer Science.

Master's Degree Requirements

Pacific offers an M.S. in Engineering Science with concentrations available in civil engineering; electrical, computer engineering and computer science; engineering management; mechanical engineering. Students must complete a minimum of 30 units. Students can do a thesis, project, or they can complete the full 30 units through coursework. Undergraduate students have the option of applying for a blended co-terminal degree program which allows them to begin taking some of their graduate coursework as early as the beginning of the senior year.

We also offer a Master of Science in Analytics. This program is designed for working professionals: it uses a hybrid approach to learning by combining the convenience of online learning with hands-on experience in the classroom. Students must complete a minimum of 32 units for degree conferral.
