The College of Engineering currently offers ten minor programs: Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Construction Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Energy Policy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Science & Technology, Materials Science, and Sustainability in the Built Environment. The Technology Management Minor offers the opportunity for students to complement their studies with courses in business and management. Most undergraduates also have the option of majoring in two subject areas. See Dual Degree Programs for list of exceptions.

NOTE: The Optical Science and Engineering major (B.S.), minor, and Applied Science graduate degrees (M.S. and Ph.D.) have been discontinued. Admissions is closed to these majors, however current students will continue to be listed until they graduate.

The College offers nine graduate programs leading to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in five academic departments and three interdisciplinary graduate groups. M.Engr. and D.Engr. as well as professional post baccalaureate certificates are available in select programs. Designated Ph.D. emphases in Biotechnology, Biophotonics and Bioimaging and Nuclear Science are offered in several engineering programs. The Department of Biomedical Engineering also offers designated Ph.D. emphases in Stem and Progenitor Cells and Translational Research. An M.S. degree in Engineering can be coordinated with an MBA in the Graduate School of Management.
