Admissions Information

Graduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Admission to the engineering graduate programs is determined by the appropriate engineering department. An undergraduate degree in a related field of engineering is preferred, but not required. Additional coursework may be required as a condition of admission. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required for admission to the graduate programs.

Graduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Applications are on a rolling basis with a general deadline of before July 1 for admission into the Fall semester. The application should Include two official copies of transcripts of all college level work completed.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

Minimum TOEFL score of 550 (the equivalent score of 213 on the computer based TOEFL or 80 on the internet based TOEFL), Financial ability statement,
Compliance with U.S.I.S. passport and visa requirements.

Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students

Same as for resident students.

Residency Requirements

Graduate students can petition to transfer up to two graduate courses completed elsewhere to count toward their degree.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Students are required to have 3.0 average.
