Civil Engineering and Environmental Science

Research topics include but are not limited to: Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources, Extreme Events and Agriculture; Urban and Coastal Water Quality; Watershed hydrology; Cycling of organic contaminants in the aquatic environment; Environmental Sustainability; and Engineering Education.

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

The program emphasizes the areas of communication systems, electronic circuits, computer systems engineering, and systems design. Current research topics include autonomous drone systems, motion capture systems for health and human performance, wireless sensor networks and the Internet of Things, software defined radio, and ASIC Design.

Mechanical Engineering

The program serves engineers desiring to advance their careers by providing a modern, professionally rigorous, and conveniently administered program. The program is flexible in order to accommodate the needs of working professionals and full time graduate students. A thesis option allows students to conducted focused research under the mentorship of our program faculty.
