Types of aid available: Graduate Teaching and Graduate Research Assistantships that pay full educational fees for Doctoral students on 3/8 time or more appointment. Perkins Loans, Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized), work-study, or other university employment, fellowships, and supplemental loans as follows:

The Chancellor's Distinguished Fellowship program provides
$10,000 annual fellowship support for up to five years with full tuition and fee support plus a 50% Graduate Research or Teaching Assistantship to support exceptional doctoral students engaged in research. Students are eligible to apply if they are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or permanent resident and
have a 3.5 minimum GPA (on a 4.0 scale with a highly competitive GRE score.

Graduate Fellowships in Areas of National Need (GAANN) provides up to $30,000 plus full tuition and fee support with a travel and equipment budget. Application is made through each departmental with the fellowship available in over half of Engineering and Computing departments.

The Scholarship for Federal Service (SFS) program provides grants to students studying in the field of cybersecurity. Full tuition and fees of scholarship recipients will be covered with a stipend of $32,000/year for M.S. and Ph.D. students. Application details are at
