Orientation Week for freshmen and transfer students; Center for Career Development; Office of Academic Advising; International Student and Scholars Office; Student Activities Center; Disability Support Services; Rice Counseling Center; Student Health Services. Academic Advising provides peer advising and mentoring as well as faculty divisional advising through the residential college system. The Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) focuses on developing the communication and other personal skills needed to become successful technical leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The Center for Written, Oral and Visual Communication (CWOVC) supports the development of skillful communication by undergraduates, graduates and faculty.
