Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

1. Official high school transcript 2. Official scores for the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT )/American College Testing Program (ACT ) 3. Counselor's Evaluation Form 4. Essay 5. Application for Admission using the Common Application and $70 fee for on-line application. Algebra, trigonometry, analytic geometry, chemistry, computer literacy, and physics are high school subjects which are appropriate for students planning on entering College.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

1. Official transcripts-in original language and certified English translation 2. Syllabus of university study (course descriptions or subject studied accompanied by certified English translations) 3. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL-at least 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer based test)or 80 on IBT. IELTS score of 6.5 or over may also be used. 4. A current (within the past six months) bank or government sponsorship letter guaranteeing payment for tuition and fees, books, room and board, medical insurance and personal expenses for one calendar year (two semester and two summer sessions) is required. 5. Essay 6. Application for Admission using the Common Application and $70 fee for on-line.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

1. Official transcript from the college(s)/university(ies) attended. Transfer credits of C- or below are not accepted. 2. Transfer students who do not have 30 or more semester hours earned are required to send an official high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores. 3. Applicants for transfer admission are encouraged to file their application and supporting documents sixty days before the beginning of the semester. 4. Application for Admission using the Common Application and $70 fee for on-line application.
