Dual Degrees

Undergraduate Engineering Dual Degree Program Description

A student is counted as a “dual degree” recipient when they complete an additional degree in a program in a School or College of the University in addition to their Engineering degree. To earn a dual degree, each degree requires the student to earn at least 30 degree credits more than the degree with the higher minimum degree requirement. At least 30 of the additional credits must be 2000 level or higher courses in the major of the additional degree sought. The School of Engineering also offers a double major option (Single BSE/BS degree) and the option to graduate with a minor in addition to the Engineering degree.

Twenty-three graduating seniors received a dual degree. Nine graduated with double Engineering majors. Sixty-eight seniors graduated with an engineering minor in addition to their Engineering degree.
