Undergraduate Engineering Dual Degree Program Description

The School of Computing & Engineering's dual-degree program recognizes that a liberal arts background, combined with an SCE degree, is a forceful combination, and collaborates with other colleges and universities to make it happen.

Students spend three or four years completing their liberal arts degree at another institution. Then they transfer to UMKC to begin their two years of engineering, computer science or information technology coursework. Upon successful completion of the programs, students will earn a degree from the original institution and UMKC. SCE believes the complementary degrees blend a powerful mix of technical and communication skills that employers notice.

SCE has partnerships with Baker University (Baldwin City, KS); Blackburn College (Carlinville, IL); Eureka College (Eureka, IL); Fontbonne University (St. Louis, MO); Maryville University (St. Louis, MO); Millikin University (Decatur, IL); Missouri Western State University (St. Joseph, MO); Park University (Parkville, MO); St. Mary's University (Leavenworth, KS).
