Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Admission to Marquette is granted by the Committee on Admissions. Marquette requires graduation from an accredited high school or the equivalent. The University recommends a balanced high school preparation with course work in the following areas: English, mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry), natural sciences, and social studies.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

A minimum of 60 hours must be completed at Marquette University. A minimum of 32 hours of upper division work normally must be completed at Marquette University. A minimum of 15 credit hours in the major must normally be completed at Marquette University. The final 30 hours must be completed at Marquette University. A cumulative grade average of C or better in all Marquette work and in all engineering courses. Additional requirements include all required courses and credit hours for the major.
