Entrance Requirements and Recommendations


Applications are reviewed on an individual and holistic basis. High school subject matter includes: 8 semesters of English, 6 semesters of history or social studies, 8 semesters of academic math (algebra, geometry and trigonometry), 4 semesters of foreign language (American Sign Language included if part of school's curriculum) and 6 semesters of laboratory science, including 2 semesters of chemistry. The majority of engineering students exceed the minimum subject matter expectations. All applicants who have not completed a full year of college work are required to take the SAT or the ACT. Indiana state law requires proof of immunization for the following vaccine preventable diseases as condition of enrollment: measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, and tetanus.
