Trenchless Technology Center

The TTC is a university-industry-government research and information center specializing in the installation and maintenance of underground utility systems with minimal excavation from the surface. Techniques studied
include horizontal directional drilling, microtunneling, pipe jacking, pipe assessment systems, pipe bursting, cured-in-place relining, fold-and-form
pipe relining, and robotic spot repair. The center conducts interdisciplinary research related to the development of trenchless techniques and provides an independent source of technical data for the industry.
