Graduate Engineering Dual Degree Program Description

Several degree programs offer CSM undergraduate students the opportunity to begin work on a Graduate Certificate, Professional Master's Degree or Master's Degree while completing the requirements for their Bachelor's Degree. These programs can give students a head start on graduate education. In addition, the Division of Economics and Business at the Colorado School of Mines and the Center for Economics and Management of Ecole Nationale Superieure du Petrole et des Moteurs (Institut Fracais du Petrole) now offer a formal joint degree program in Petroleum Economics and Management. The sixteen-month joint degree program is scheduled with half of the time spent at CSM and half at IFP. Admission to this special program is limited to 10 students from CSM and 10 students from IFP. Prerequisites to the program are the same as for the regular program.

Upon satisfactory completion of the joint degree requirements, students will earn the following degrees:
� Masters of Science in Mineral Economics
� Diplome D'Ingenieur or Mastere Specialise
