Requirements

AZ Residents: HS rank top quarter or ACT 22 or SAT 1040 or 3.00 competency GPA. Non-residents: HS rank top quarter or ACT 24 or SAT 1110 or 3.00 competency GPA. Basic competencies: English-four years high school or ACT English 21 or SAT I Critical Reading 530 or one transferable three-semester-hour college English composition course; Mathematics-four years high school (One Year each: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, advanced mathematics) or ACT Math 24 or SAT I Math 540 or one transferable three-semester-hour college math course for which at least intermediate algebra is a prerequisite; Lab science-three years; one year each from three of the following: biology, chemistry, earth sciences, integrated sciences, physics or a minimum Sat II score in a subject where high school credit was not earned can substitute for one of the three courses: Biology Achievement 590, Chemistry Achievement 600, Physics Achievement 620, ACT Science 20 or three transferable four-semester-hour college lab science courses including one semester each from three of the following: biology, chemistry, earth science, physics. An integrated lab science or advanced level science may be substituted for one required course; social science two years-including one year high school American history or Sat II American History and Social Studies Achievement 560 or one transferable three-semester-hour college American History course; Foreign Language-two years high school same foreign language or attainment of minimum score on a national standarized foreign language test or placement into a third semester college foreign language class based on university placement exam results; or two transferable three or four semester hour college level courses in same foreign language; Fine Arts-two semesters high school or one transferable three credit college fine arts course.
