Admissions Information

Graduate Admission to the College of Engineering

The Graduate admissions requirements are: A bachelor of science in engineering from an ABET accredited program, or a bachelor's degree in the science or mathematics disciplines; a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 out of 4, or upper 20% of graduating class. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required, but will be taken into consideration in acceptance decisions if submitted.

Graduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Graduate admissions requirements into an engineering department are the same as the College's.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

In addition to official proof of a four-year baccalaureate degree, other academic requirements include TOEFL exam scores, official transcript evaluation by World Education Services, and other requirements as specified in the "Eligibility Requirements" section of the formal application.

International students must also show the ability to support tuition and living expenses.

Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students

Same requirements as resident students.

Residency Requirements

None

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Same criteria as newly admitted students. Only 9 credits are transferrable into the graduate engineering program.
