Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Completion of 16 academic units at the high school level, four of which must be English; four units of each mathematics and sciences (with a minimum of a 3.0 in mathematics and sciences) and any combination of four units of social sciences and foreign language. Submission of an official secondary school transcript including senior class schedule, grades, rank in class, guidance counselor recommendation; SAT/ACT scores, letter of recommendation, personal statement, ad a listing of extra curricular activities..

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

TOEFL score of 550 (paper test) or 213 (computer test) or 79 (Internet based-iBT) or a 6.5 on the IELTS is required. L.I.F.E. program level 12 and ESL Language Center Level 112 in lieu of TOEFL are also accepted.

Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students

Same as for resident students

Residency Requirements

2/3 of upper level courses must be taken at Gannon and the final 30 credits must be completed at Gannon.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Must be in good academic standing at a regionally accredited institution (GPA above 2.0). Must provide official transcripts from each institution attended. If candidate has fewer than 30 credits, they must also provide an official copy of their high school transcript. All students must show proof of high school graduation. Any grade of "incomplete" from a prior institution must be resolved prior to being reviewed for admission.
