Numerous professional staff members in the Cockrell School are dedicated to assisting students with their academic journey. Early in your academic career, we encourage students to connect with an academic advisor or program staff member so that they can receive ongoing, personalized and responsive guidance and support.
Engineering Student Services (ESS) exists to serve students, faculty, staff and the university by assisting in recruiting, retaining, and graduating engineering students. Striving to provide a foundation that helps students develop quality lives, careers and a long-term relationship with the university is the mission of ESS. ESS provides a variety of different services to students, representing the Office of the Dean in all student matters, and serving as a clearinghouse for information about the Cockrell School and the university. For additional information, contact ESS at (512) 471-4321. Website: http://www.engr.utexas.edu/undergraduate.
