The College offers first year and transfer student orientation; free tutoring for first and second year core courses; a student ambassador program using upper class students to assist with advising new engineering students; a merit-based scholarship program; a co-op/internship program; a Grand Challenges Scholars program; and a professional development program which assists students in career exploration, co-op and internship opportunities, development of job search skills, and accessing on and off-campus interview opportunities in government and industry settings; The Hanson Center for Technical Communications provides support to engineering courses and to individual engineering students.
