Other Student Support Programs

The Institute offers a variety of resources for advising, counseling, and personal support. Every undergraduate at MIT has an advisor, typically a faculty or department member. The Office of the Dean for Graduate Education, Office of the Dean for Undergraduate Education, and the Office of the Dean for Student Life have the responsibility for a number of offices providing support. These include the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Programming, the Office of Minority Education, Residential Life and Student Life programs, Global Education and Career Development, and the International Students Office. MIT Together, Student Support Services (S3), Student Financial Services, Student Disabilities Services, the Medical Department, and the MIT Chaplains are some of MIT's additional resources.
