Engineering College Description and Special Characteristics

The Fulton College of Engineering and Technology enrolls approximately 2800 undergraduate students that are pursuing B.S. level degrees in five engineering areas and 300 graduate students pursuing MS and PhD degrees. An additional 850 students are enrolled in technology programs housed in the School of Technology within the college. Students come from all 50 states and many foreign countries. The curriculum emphasizes a blend of theory, practice and design, and students have access to outstanding facilities to support their education and research activities. The college promotes five over-arching strategic education objectives: Technical Excellence, Global Competence, Leadership, Innovation and Character. Special courses, seminars, mentoring and study-abroad programs are available to help students achieve these objectives. The Department of Computer Science is housed in the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
