Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

The SECCM admissions' process is managed by the Office of Admissions with applicant review by the School of Engineering. Applicants submit a RWU Application or Common Application. Admission is made directly to a program. All accepted students are tested for math proficiency and placed accordingly. Submission of SAT and ACT scores is optional.

Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department

All engineering students follow the identical program for their first two years of study. In the second semester of their sophomore year, students formally declare a specialization in either Mechanical, Civil, Computer, Electrical or a Custom Program.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

Foreign students seeking admission must take the TOEFL exam in addition to the normal application requirements.

Residency Requirements

Complete 45 of the last 60 credits at Roger Williams University or at a RWU semester abroad program.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Transfer students must submit official high school and college transcripts.
