Charger Chasers is a mentoring program comprised of sophomore through senior engineering students who maintain contact with students, conduct tours, and provide general information about engineering from a student perspective. The Engineering Freshman and Transfer Retention Program provides an advisor to meet with the student two times during the first semester and one time during the second semester. During these meetings, students are provided with information, such as study tips and how to talk to their professor, that will help them be successful in their studies. The College of Engineering has a program supported by COLSA to assist and mentor engineering students, especially minority engineering students. This program provides tutors in mathematics, programming, and basic sciences to engineering students.
