Admissions Information

Graduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Applicants to graduate programs at Drexel University must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and are required to complete an admissions application, provide original transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a statement of purpose. Regular admission to the graduate programs requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the last two years of undergraduate study and for graduate level study undertaken.
The applicant also must have the official score report of any required standardized tests forwarded directly by the testing agency to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
International applicants must present documents demonstrating equivalent education and/or training from a non-U.S. college or university.

Graduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Admission to an Engineering Department is granted by the Director of Graduate Admissions with approval of the departmental graduate faculty adviser or selection committee.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

In addition to the application requirements for domestic graduate applicants, foreign students must receive a minimum 600 on the TOEFL paper version or 79 on the internet version.

Residency Requirements
