Admissions Information

Graduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Completion of a baccalaureate degree from an approved institution. Undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 (A=4.0) for the final 60 semester hours of baccalaureate study, including all of the work taken in the term in which the student began the final 60 semester hours of study (programs may reguire a higher GPA). A cumulative grade point average obtained for all work completed beyond the baccalaurette will be also computed and considered, if applicable. The minimum grade point average equivalent for international coursework is 3.0 (A=4.0). The minimum TOEFL score for international applicants is 550 (paper) / 213 (Computer). The application deadline for the Fall term by US residents is March 15 and must include the fee of $60. The application deadline for the Fall term by international applicants is February 15 and must include the fee of $60.

Graduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Some engineering graduate degree programs require a minimum GPA of 3.5. Prospective students should contact the specific department for the admission requirements.
