Graduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Admission to the Graduate School does not in itself entitle a student for candidacy for an advanced degree in the College of Engineering. The student must obtain departmental or area acceptance for advisement before beginning work toward the degree. Acceptance standards are determined by the respective departments, but in general are based on previous academic record, scores on the GRE or a comparable nationally normed test, and letters of recommendation.
