The College of Engineering and Computer Science provides the following support programs for students:

Academic Advising - Each department and program within the College provides students with assigned faculty advisors.

Career Services - Career planning services are
available, including career classes, workshops, job fairs,
a jobs database listing student and career positions, and
assistance of a Career Counselor in job searching.

Computing Services - The College provides state-of-the-art hardware, software, networking and consulting for both academic and research computing and communications. The College's computing facilities include servers for network administration, academic computing, E-mail, Web-hosting, etc., as well as forty-two specialized MS Windows or Linux workstation-equipped laboratories. Computer accounts are maintained for approximately 3500 faculty, staff and students. The forty-two computer laboratories are located in the three buildings occupied by the College. One of these labs also houses the ECS Computing Services Help Desk, which is staffed with student consultants and provides faculty, staff and student support seven days a week during the academic semester. Standard software packages such as MS Office, are provided and distributed by ECS Computing Services. In addition, department-specific software packages such as AutoCad, ProEngineer, Patran, Synopsys, etc., are maintained and supported. Linux, MS Windows, and MacOS are the dominant Operating Systems in use. The College has a central data center for servers and network infrastructure.. The College also maintains numerous multimedia classroom facilities and a Skype-based teleconference facility. The College's computing facilities provide students unrivaled access to current computing environments.

Student Tutoring Program - The College provides free tutoring services for ECS students at its Academic Success Center. All tutors have earned upper division or graduate status in ECS with demonstrated academic achievement and are discipline-specific.
