Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Application fee of $50 due with application by November 15 if applying under the Early Action Program, or by the final deadline of February 1 . Items required to complete the application: application fee, essay, activity sheet, official HS transcript, official SAT or ACT scores, Common Application School Report, Letter(s) of Recommendation.

The School of Engineering and Applied Science has competitive, direct admission for engineering programs. This includes civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, engineering management as well as students who are undecided but desire a major in an engineering discipline. Please note that direct admission does not apply to the computer science program. The Admission Committee prefers students who are college calculus ready and have a strong high school science curriculum.

* TOEFL score of at least 550 written / 213 computer / 80 IBT or
* Score of 6.0 or better on the IELTS or
* Score of 3 or better in the APIEL test or
* SAT with Critical Reading and Math of at least 1070 or higher or
* Composite ACT score of no less than 23

Residency Requirements

Gonzaga University requires students under the age of 21 to live on campus under the University's Residency Requirement. Students may request an exemption from this requirement.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Application fee of $50, essay, all college transcripts from previously attended institutions, Common Application College Official's Report, and one teacher recommendation. Students transferring in less than 30 credits must give their final high school transcripts and an SAT or ACT if they are under 21.
