Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

Applicants must have an educational background that is equivalent to a high school diploma from the state of Ohio. For applicants whose native language is not English, a TOEFL (71 or higher) test score is required. Applicants must also provide a complete academic record; descriptive syllabus of courses taken at foreign universities; evidence of adequate financial resources; and, have above average ability to do college work.

Residency Requirements

Students must complete all requirements in their degree program. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be earned at Wright State. Credit by evaluation will not be considered as residency credit. At least 10 of the last 30 credit hours must be earned at Wright State. A minimum of 20 hours of courses numbered 3000 or above must be earned at Wright State.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Transfer students with at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale) from the last institution attended are eligible to apply for unconditional admission. Transfer students are admitted to a department and major when they meet college/department academic requirements.
