Entrance Requirements and Recommendations


For Ontario High School Graduates:
Required Courses: At least six Grade 12 U/M level courses, including: ENG4U, MCV4U, SCH4U, SPH4U
Admission Range: 85-88%

For other Canadian High School Graduates:
Required Courses: English, Math, Chemistry, Physics (grade 12 level)
Admission Range: 87-90%

International Students who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma:
Required courses: 6 subjects are required at the diploma level including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics.
Admission Range: 34-36 is required for consideration
Must demonstrate English language proficiency

International Students from acceptable American style schools must achieve both a high school diploma from an academic program to include at least 3 years of English, 3 years of Mathematics.
Required Courses: Grade 12 English, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Physics
Admission Range: SAT of at least 1200 from the two components, Critical Reading and Math (minimum score of 580 for Critical Reading and 520 for Math) or an ACT composite score of at least 27. Redesigned SAT1 of at least 1200 as a combined score with a minimum of 600 in each section. (SAT I institution code is 0936. ACT institution code is 5326).
Must demonstrate English language proficiency.
