Degree Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Requirements

Liberty University’s 133-hour Bachelor of Science program in Computer Engineering requires students to take 57 hours of coursework in engineering, and another 33 hours in math and science in addition to the general education requirements. Within the major requirements, students will complete a Senior Capstone Project.

Liberty University’s 134-hour Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering requires students to take 52 hours of coursework in engineering, and another 33 hours in math and science in addition to the general education requirements. Liberty University’s 133-hour Bachelor of Science program in Industrial and Systems Engineering requires students to take 54 hours of coursework in engineering, and another 33 hours in math and science in addition to the general education requirements. Within the major requirements, students will complete a Senior Capstone Project.

Liberty University’s 134-hour Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering requires students to take 64 hours of coursework in engineering, and another 27 hours in math and science in addition to the general education requirements. Master's Degree Requirements

The Masters of Science in Cyber Security is a 36 hour graduate program that will provide students with a comprehensive foundation of practical knowledge in the Cyber Security field. Students will learn skills in the fields of Applied Network Security, Digital Forensics, Ethics, Legal Issues, Policy, Privacy and Anonymity, Web Security, Ethical Hacking, and Cryptography. These course will also provide hands-on labs that will give the students realistic experiences and preparing them for entry into the cyber security work force.
