Other Student Support Programs

1. Freshman Experience, 1 credit required, a survey of support services available to students.
2. Conditional Admission Program - remedial courses in reading, writing, study skills, and mathematics for freshmen who are not fully prepared to begin their study of engineering.
3. Math & Chemistry Summer Camp - students that are placed in a low math or chemistry course are encouraged to attend this summer session for a fee. Students can then be accelerated into a higher placement for math and/or chemistry.
4. Living Learning Communities - Engineering & Applied Science
5. Internships at local / regional companies.
6. The Robert E. Alvine Professional Effectiveness and Enrichment Program - a regularly-offered lecture series where contemporary issues are presented by prominent personalities in the field.
