Engineering Technology College Description and Special Characteristics

Situated in the industrial hub of the state, the engineering technology program enjoys a modern building with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The program has seen continuous growth since its inception in 1977. It offers both associate and baccalaureate degrees in electronics/computer engineering technology and mechanical engineering technology on a 2+2 format. Both day and evening classes are available to accommodate full-time and part-time working students. The program curricula emphasize extensive laboratory work supplemented by a strong theoretical background and substantial computer experience. Senior design projects are often carried out in coalition with local industries to provide real-life experience to the graduates. A Co-op program and Internships are available to interested students.
