Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

Lafayette evaluates the same factors when considering foreign nationals for admission as it does American candidates, namely academic preparation and performance in secondary school, the candidate's personal qualities and extracurricular record, and the recommendation of the secondary school.

Residency Requirements

Lafayette College welcomes applications from well-qualified students (3.2 average or better) who wish to transfer from accredited junior colleges, community colleges, or four-year institutions. Transfer students are normally required to spend two academic years at Lafayette in order to be eligible for graduation. Campus housing is available for all incoming transfer students.
