Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Application form, personal statement, and the application fee. Official records from your most recently attended secondary school. Official SAT (or ACT) scores - unless you have been out of secondary school three or more years at the time of application, or are claiming a Chapter 766 exemption and submitting an IEP. There is a $60 application fee.

Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and require 4 units of college-preparatory mathematics which must include at least 2 units in algebra & 1/2 unit in trigonometry; and either (a)physics & chemistry, one of which must be a laboratory course, or (b) 3 units in natural science, all must be laboratory course sciences, Physics is strongly recommended for all engineering applicants.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

TOEFL Score - 550 or better
TOEFL Internet based - 79 or better

Entrance Requirements for Non-Resident Students

Same as residents

Residency Requirements

At least 45 credits of course work must be completed here with at least 30 in advanced or specialized course work.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Transfer applicants who present at least 24 transferrable college credits at the time of application are not required to submit College Board SAT results. Others are required to do so; most will submit the scores that they earned while they were in secondary school.
