Entrance Requirements and Recommendations


Admission to the University is competitive and is based primarily upon high school curriculum, grades, class standing, and SAT I or ACT scores. An applicant's intended major and state residency also receive consideration. To apply for admission, a candidate must submit a high school transcript through his/her counselor and have results of the SAT or ACT sent directly from the testing agency. In addition, all applicants for freshman admission should complete the following courses in high school:
English: four credit are required.
Social Studies: Three credits are required.
Mathematics: Three credits are required.
Laboratory Science: Three credits are required.
Foreign Language: Three credits from same language required.
PE/ROTC: One credit.
