Undergraduate Admission to the College of Engineering

Admission is based on the strength of an applicant's high school background including the degree of difficulty of courses selected, the record of academic achievement in a rigorous and appropriate college preparatory program, special or unique accomplishments both in and out of the classroom and the ACT or SAT I scores. Successful completion of high school courses-- English (4 years), Math (3 years including algebra, geometry, trigonometry), Science (3 years including Chemistry and Physics), Social Science (3 years).

Undergraduate Admission to an Engineering Department

Students meeting admission requirements to the School of Engineering will be admitted to an engineering department at the time of admission to the University.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

International students must meet all School of Engineering admission standards. In addition, financial statement and verification of English proficiency (TOEFL) are required.

Residency Requirements

Students are required to complete at least the last 30 semester credit hours of a four year degree at Trine University to be eligible for a baccalaureate degree.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Satisfactory performance at previous institutions. The University has articulation agreements with a variety of community colleges.
