Admission to Engineering Technology College

Admission is based on the strength of an applicant's high school background including the degree of difficulty of courses selected, the record of academic achievement in a rigorous and appropriate college preparatory program, special or unique accomplishments both in and out of the classroom and the ACT or SAT I scores. Successful completion of high school courses--Algebra ( 1 year), Geometry (1 year), Trigonometry (1 semester), Science and Social Sciences (3 years each), English (4 years).

Admission to an Engineering Technology Department

At the time of admission to the institution.

Entrance Requirements for Foreign Students

Financial statement and verification of English proficiency(TOEFL) are required. (Minimum TOEFL 550 or 79 on the computer-based test) Foreign students must meet all Engineering Technology admission requirements.

Residency Requirements

Students are required to complete at least the last 30 semester credit hours of a four year degree at Trine University to be eligible for a baccalaureate degree.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students

Satisfactory performance at previous institutions. The University has articulation agreements with a variety of community colleges.
