Other Student Support Programs

Professional counselors are available to engineering students for both personal and academic matters. The University offers complementary services to these.

A center providing continuous support for academic matters common to these students.

TUTORING PROGRAM. A panel of graduate/undergraduate experts in lower division courses is available five days per week on a drop-in basis.

EXCEL. A month-long summer program of math, chemistry, computers, and writing, leading to academic credit. During the academic year there are extra discussion sections which, if attended regularly, will provide academic credit.

ACADEMIC SERVICES OFFICE. Students can access their records, get advice on fulfilling their requirements, make changes in their major, receive other information related to their status as an engineering student, and preregister for their courses.
