Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally-funded TRIO program. The focus of SSS is to retain and graduate program participants in their academic discipline. SSS provides academic and social/cultural support services to program participants through the undergraduate years and is intended to lead to successful completion of the PNW curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree. Services include tutoring, academic advising/coaching, career advising, student leadership opportunities, financial literacy, financial aid guidance, scholarship search assistance, graduate school admission advising, classroom skill building, and social, cultural, and service activities. The Counseling Center supports and assists students in their educational pursuit by providing a broad range of psychological counseling and educational services to deal with personal, interpersonal, vocational, and academic issues. Counseling services are provided by licensed mental health professionals and are confidential, as protected by law. For more info visit
While students work toward declaring their major, the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) provides advisors, staff and resources to help students navigate their college experience. ACE provides advising information and student academic support resources, including walk-in tutoring, supplemental instruction (SI), private tutoring, and student employment.
